Genuine Purple Wampum Shell Dangle Earrings

These genuine purple wampum shell earrings are made with raw wampum shells found on eastern coastal beaches and non tarnish rose gold artistic wire. They are combined with white lotus artisan Czech glass beads and 6mm pink Czech glass beads. The Czech white lotus beads have a beautiful pink iridescent sheen. The ear wires are hand made with rose gold and have small purple Czech glass beads added as a beautiful accent.

These earrings hang 2.5 inches from ear lobe to bottom of wampum shells.

Wampum is a traditional shell bead of the Eastern Woodlands tribes of Native Americans. It includes white shell beads hand fashioned from the North Atlantic channeled whelk shell and white and purple beads made from the quahog or Western North Atlantic hard-shelled clam.
